These FDX-B PIT Tags (1.4mm x 8.5mm) are read-only (134.2 kHz) transponders for simple, convenient and secure animal identification. The microchip dimensions are 1.4mm (D) x 8.5mm (L), and it is the newest and smallest transponder currently available. These transponders are only about 25% of the volume and 27% of the weight (0.027g) of that of the 12mm transponders. These tags are optimum for use in applications involving fingerling fish, small reptiles or small birds. UID provides high quality FDX-B PIT Tags with a unique ID (128 bit) to facilitate the animal identification process. The FDX-B protocol (134.2 kHz) provides fast and secure reading capabilities using the URH-1HP-ISO Reader or Field Reader.
